Energy Audit & Energy Management Plans for WASAs in Punjab

Energy Audits and Energy Management Plans for WASAs in Punjab was a six month project assigned by The Urban Unit, Punjab. This project was funded by the World Bank under “Punjab Cities Governance Improvement Project (PCGIP)”. NEC conducted energy audits of about 1,600 freshwater turbines and wastewater disposal pumps of WASAs in five cities of Punjab i.e. Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan and Gujranwala. Main objective of these energy audits was to evaluate the pumping system efficiency of all the pumps and suggest improvements.
