The environmental regulatory regime in Pakistan, both at the national and provincial levels, requires all new projects or interventions to carry out environmental assessments and obtain NOC from relevant EPA before commencing any works.

NEC is the leading company in Pakistan for conducting Environmental Impact Assessment studies. We maintain a long list of clients for environmental assessment & auditing services. These studies are conducted under the framework of guidelines prepared by PEPA, UNEP, World Bank, USEPA and Asian Development Bank. We have conducted close to 100 EIA s / IEEs of projects including industry, infrastructure, dams and hydropower, water supply and irrigation, and development sectors.
